Here's how to choose the right size for your future insulating gloves :

(To carry out the following steps, you'll need a tape measure)

  1. Run a tape measure around your hand, but without taking the thumb (see diagram).
  2. Close your hand loosely and measure.
  3. Transfer the measurement to the conversion chart opposite. If you're between 2 sizes, always take the larger one !

Types of protection and special properties

Our gloves feature special properties to provide extra protection during electrical activities : protection A (acid), H (oil), Z (ozone), R (A + H + Z), C (very low temperature); most of our gloves are category RC. Of course, as mentioned above, it's very important to choose the right size for the best possible dexterity.

Please note that we offer 3 types of gloves with different levels of protection depending on use :

  • Gloves with electrical protection only (to be used with a leather protector for mechanical protection).
  • Gloves with integrated electrical and mechanical protection (2 in 1).
  • Gloves with integrated electrical and mechanical protection and electric arc (3 in 1).

Glove recommendations (excluding periodic inspection) : It is mandatory to carry out a complete visual inspection on each glove every time it is used. Regularly use a manual air pressure testing device to inflate the glove (such as our EOS product) and thus detect any glove defects.

If one of the two gloves has a defect, then both gloves in the pair should not be used and should be returned for electrical testing or destroyed.
